About the job Job Opportunity: Accountant Location: Erbil, Iraq Job Description Summary: HalbandOil is seeking reliable and detail-oriented candidates to join our team. As an accountant, you will work with large amounts of financial data, handle multiple tasks with deadlines, and provide clear and accurate reports to management. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, along with excellent communication and computer skills, are essential. Accountant Responsibilities: Comply with company policies and financial regulations. Compile, analyze, and report financial data. Create periodic reports such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, etc. Present data to managers, investors, and other stakeholders. Maintain accurate financial records. Perform audits and resolve discrepancies. Stay informed on current legislation related to finance and accounting. Assist management in decision-making by preparing budgets and financial forecasts. Accountant Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Additional education or experience is a plus. Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills. Knowledge of accounting principles, financial processes, and mathematics. Ethical conduct. High attention to detail.
