Position Overview:
The Interconnection Applicant will be responsible for preparing, submitting, and managing interconnection applications for solar and battery storage systems. This role involves working closely with utility companies, project managers, and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless integration of renewable energy systems with the grid.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit interconnection applications for solar and battery storage systems.
Coordinate with utility companies to ensure all required documentation is accurate and complete.
Monitor the progress of interconnection requests and follow up as needed to ensure timely approvals.
Communicate with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide updates on interconnection statuses.
Address any issues or questions that arise during the interconnection process.
Maintain detailed records of all interconnection-related documentation.
Stay updated on changes in interconnection requirements, standards, and utility policies.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Master degree or equivalent required.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and NEC standards.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
