Responsibilities
* Creating 2 D renders of bathrooms, kitchen and joinery products to visualize the final outcome.
* Developing accurate material lists and cost estimates for joinery projects.
* Ensuring that the joinery designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
* Making modifications and revisions to joinery drawings as required based on feedback from clients or project managers.
* Coordinating with production teams to communicate design specifications and provide technical support during the manufacturing process.
* Keeping up-to-date with the latest joinery design trends, technologies, and materials.
* Maintaining organized and up-to-date documentation of joinery drawings and design files.
* Should have a strong understanding of Fit-out projects and scope of work.
* They should be able to create accurate and detailed drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and sections and particular details.
* Knowledge of materials, finishes, and construction techniques is also important.
* Effective communication skills and need to work closely with architects, designers, and contractors
* They need to ensure that their drawings are accurate and comply with relevant standards and regulations and site conditions.
* They should be able to work efficiently and meet project milestones.
* Should be adaptable and able to find creative solutions to problems that may arise during the design process.
Requirements and skills
* Proven working experience in decorating interior spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning and new constructions)
* Expertise in layout, colour, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and all installations.
* Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3 D Max, Illustrator or other design programs
* Excellent portfolio of previous works
* Creative talent, imagination and eye for design
* Communication and presentation skills
* Project management skills
* BS degree in Interior Design or similar
