
Hiring Housekeeping Manager Key Responsibilities: • Supervise and manage the housekeeping team, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and service. • Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and checklists to ensure efficiency and consistency. • Monitor and inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met. • Coordinate with other departments (front desk, maintenance, etc.) to ensure smooth operations. • Manage housekeeping staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations. • Maintain inventory control of housekeeping supplies and order new items as needed. • Handle guest requests and complaints regarding housekeeping services, ensuring prompt resolution. • Monitor and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. • Prepare and manage departmental budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations. • Assist in the recruitment and training of new housekeeping staff. • Ensure proper laundering and handling of linen and guest laundry services. Requirements: • Proven experience as a Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor in the hospitality industry. • Strong leadership and team management skills. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Good understanding of cleaning and maintenance procedures. • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards. • Ability to manage budgets and handle inventory control. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred.
