Hiring Entry-Level IT Networks Technician
A business service consultant is in search of a dynamic and driven individual to join their team as an Entry-Level IT Networks Technician.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure optimal uptime and performance.
• Provide technical support to end-users, diagnose and resolve network-related problems in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with team members to design and implement network solutions that align with the needs of our clients.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to contribute innovative ideas for enhancing network efficiency and security.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Up to 1 year of experience in IT networking or related roles.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
• Basic knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and the capability to collaborate effectively with team members.
