We are looking for a professional Sous Chef to be the second in command in our kitchen, following our Executive Chef’s specifications and guidelines. nnResponsibilities:nnHelp in the preparation and design of all food and drink menusnProduce high-quality plates both design and taste-wisenEnsure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standardsnFill in for the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation when necessarynResourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situationnManage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule and assess staff’s performancenOrder supplies to stock inventory appropriatelynComply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standardsnMaintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customersnnRequirements and skillsnn5+ years of experience as a Sous ChefnUnderstanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and proceduresnExcellent record of kitchen and staff managementnAccuracy and speed in handling emergency situations and providing solutionsnFamiliar with the industry’s best practices
