مطلوب مسؤول النسخ الاحتياطي لدى Zak Solutions for Computer Systems في الكويت Backup Administrator About the job Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnosis, troubleshoot, and conduct root-cause analysis for any issues escalated on the storage and backup platforms.
Participate in the building, installation, configuration and testing of servers, storage, and backup infrastructure for new use, upgrades, or lifecycle replacement.
Ensure Support Guides and related documentation is up to date.
Fulfill corporate compliance tasks including mandatory training and weekly timesheets.
Participate to support shift on Storage & Backup perimeter.
Enforce existing Global standards for Storage & Backup perimeter.
Perform daily monitoring and management of all backup related activities, including executing restore jobs, troubleshooting failed jobs, and initiating corrective action.
Create and communicate reports for backup and storage environments.
Coordination with Services Team in case of hardware failure and Data Center facilities outage (AC, Power, UPS etc.)
Respond to client inquiries and request for backup and restore.
Creation of backup in enterprise environments
Coordinate monthly testing of Data Center emergency power. Requirements: B.Sc. in in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
MCSE/Linux Certified.
At least 9 years in same filed.
Extensively well-versed in data recovery.
Awareness of latest software updates.
Familiarity with Linux system administration.
Familiarity with Microsoft Products (Exchange- SQL) and Systems.
Cloud Virtual Environments.
Experience in Oracle Application.
Familiar with Data Center Day to day operation.
Excellent command of English.
