Job description:
Position: Supply Chain Quality Officer
Based in: Dubai , UAE
Requirement: UAE Pharmacist License

Primary Responsibilities

1. **Supply Chain Management: **
Guarantee the delivery of products in the distribution network to the right place, and at the right time, considering customer requirements, quality (Good Distribution Practices), deadlines, service, costs. This by ensuring end-to-end management of the process in compliance with Group rules and the regulations in force in each country.
Ensure a smooth and timely flow of pharmaceutical products from manufacturers to distributors and ultimately to pharmacies and healthcare facilities.
Contributes to structuring the Supply Chain’s quality approach by supporting the various departments in the deployment of Quality Assurance tools and actions within each department,
Manages the documentation, quality management system and quality training for the distribution operations.
Coordinate and manage the batch recall process (traceability, coordination with the platform pharmacist)
2. **Quality Control and Assurance: **
Implement and oversee quality control processes to maintain the integrity of pharmaceutical products throughout the distribution chain.
Manages the processing of logistics complaints concerning pharmaceutical products marketed by the Servier Group, in compliance with the Group’s complaints procedure,
Investigation of deviations and implementation of corrective actions,
Ensures compliance of drug distribution processes with internal and external standards throughout the Servier Group (subsidiaries, platforms, production sites, carriers),
Analysis and follow-up of transport, distribution deviations such as temperatures excursions.
Monitors regulatory requirements for the storage and distribution of pharmaceutical products.
3. **Quality and regulatory Compliance: **
Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and guidelines in the Middle East, addressing issues such as licensing, labeling, and distribution requirements.
Conducts internal and external audits based on risk analysis, and monitors action plans for the distribution operations
Ensures control of the distribution site’s outsourced activities (implementation of quality agreement with suppliers and subcontractors, monitoring of quality indicators, etc.),
Ensuring the quality management of the pharmaceutical operations performed at warehouse level (storage, order preparation, distribution, transport)
4. **Inventory Management: **
Management of potential returns and decision whether or not to reintegrate products into saleable stock,
Ensures batch tracking and traceability of pharmaceutical product batches.
In the event of a quality problem, change of batch status in the Servier Information System and transmission to the storage platform.
5. **Training and Development: **
Provide training to distribution teams on pharmaceutical regulations, product knowledge, and best practices for handling and transporting sensitive medical products.
6. **Customer Service and Communication: **
Maintain effective communication channels with pharmacies and healthcare facilities, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
7. **Continuous Improvement: **
Identify opportunities for process improvement within the distribution chain to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Participates in the implementation of new quality processes relating to distribution (new flows, cold chain, etc.),
Contributes projects with a quality expertise (new products, new tool, etc.)
Profile description:
Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy
Pharmacist License in UAE
Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in similar profile, in UAE market (ideally in international pharma company)
Fluent communication especially in English, Arabic is an added advantage .
Very good communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive and flexible
Good project management and organisation skills
