Backend Developer (NestJs) About the job [Located in Kuwait] We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with at least 3 years of experience in NestJS to join our team. The ideal candidate is proficient in microservices architecture, follows clean code practices, and is familiar with DevOpstools and cloud platforms (AWS). You’ll design and build scalable backend systems, optimize performance, and contribute to high-quality, maintainable solutions. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance APIs and backend services using Node.js and NestJS.
Architect and implement microservices to support scalable and distributed systems.
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best software engineering practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and deploy applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for performance and scalability.
Ensure the security and data integrity of applications.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in software development, DevOps, and cloud technologies. Qualifications: Must be located in Kuwait
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field)
3+ years of professional experience with NestJS and Node.js.
Strong understanding of microservices architecture and best practices.
Expertise in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
Experience with DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines).
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Familiarity with database systems (SQL and NoSQL) like Postgress, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.
Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, including Clean Code, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
Ability to write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude. Preferred Skills: Experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
Knowledge of container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
Familiarity with serverless computing.
