We are looking for a PV Design Engineer with 13 years of experience in solar system design to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing both On-Grid and Off-Grid solar PV systems and will play a key role in preparing technical and financial proposals, developing full shop drawings, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for various solar projects. Key Responsibilities: Prepare technical and financial proposals for solar PV projects. Develop full shop drawings, Single Line Diagrams (SLD), and comprehensive Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for projects. Design solar PV systems, including both On-Grid and Off-Grid systems, and work on tenders. Utilize solar design software such as PVsyst, SketchUp, and AutoCAD for system design and analysis. Analyze and summarize tenders’ copies to ensure accurate and competitive submissions. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in the solar field. Collaborate across departments and effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. 13 years of experience in solar PV system design (On-Grid, Off-Grid, and tender preparation). Proficiency in solar design software (e.g., PVsyst, SketchUp, AutoCAD). Strong understanding of relevant solar codes, standards, and regulations. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
