Job Title: Senior Accountant Location: Amman, Jordan Company: Prime Cinemas Prime Cinemas is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Jordan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all financial operations related to cinema activities, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and maintaining accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and maintain the General Ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions. Reconcile daily revenue from box office ticket sales, food and beverage (F& B), and other income sources, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. Monitor and control cash flow and daily deposits, ensuring proper reconciliation with bank statements. Prepare and submit financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and tax reports in compliance with local financial regulations. Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring timely payments to movie distributors, suppliers, and vendors. Oversee revenue-sharing payments to film distributors and ensure accuracy in reporting film performance. Handle monthly and yearly VAT, sales tax, and other tax submissions in compliance with Jordanian tax laws.
