وظيفة موظف مراقبة تكاليف في شركة المنيوم البتراء
Petra Aluminum Company is seeking a dedicated, organized and efficient Project Cost Control Officer. In this role, you will work with multiple departments to help manage and monitor the cost of the project throughout its lifecycle. Candidates must have an eye for detail and a go-getter personality, ready to help synchronize all the project elements and make them operate successfully.
Below is a brief description of the vacancy:
• Company: Petra Aluminum Company
• Job Title: Project Cost Control Officer
• Brief Job Description:
1. Responsible to prepare material take-off for project as per contract, BOQ and drawings.
2. Communicate and coordinate with suppliers to ensure obtaining material prices as per budget and project requirements.
3. Coordinate with Procurement and related departments to ensure all required materials are available in a timely manner that in within project’s overall timeframe
4. Responsible to plan, control and monitor project’s budget including expenditure for materials, engineering, fabrication, transportation and installation for projects. This also includes ensuring that all related expenditures are captured and properly recorded.
5. Monitor all project costs to ensure that related expenditures do not exceed project’s budget.
6. Coordinate with project team and all related parties to resolve project cost issues and ensure delivery/ completion of the project’s work within the budget.
7. Perform project costing related reporting to the team and management on a monthly basis to ensure that expenditures are kept within the project budget.
8. Monitor any cost variations from contract and alert project team and related parties. Coordinate with related teams regarding action that needs to be taken for variations.
• Qualifications & Competencies:
1. Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering or Business Management.
2. Experience in material take-off in similar industry is a plus.
3. Knowledge in Six Sigma, process re-engineering, material management, quality assurance, budgeting and costing is a plus.
4. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Project).
5. Organized and detail-oriented
6. Strong communication skills both oral and written
7. Ability to multi-task effectively
8. Critical thinking and problem solving
