BEKFORD a leading company in Public Health is looking to recruit an Accountant to be part of itsnFinance Department. nnJob responsibility includes:nFinancial Reporting: Preparing balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other financial reports. nGeneral Ledger Management: Maintaining and reconciling general ledgers, ensuring accuracy and compliance. nAccounts PayableReceivable: Managing invoices, payments, and collections, ensuring timely and accurate processing. nBudgeting and Forecasting: Assisting in the development and monitoring of budgets, providing financial forecasts. nTax Compliance: Preparing and filing tax returns, staying updated on tax regulations. nFinancial Analysis: Analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and providing insights for decision-making. nAuditing: Assisting with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and accuracy. nInternal Controls: Developing and implementing internal controls to safeguard company assets and financial information. nCommunication: Effectively communicating financial information to management, stakeholders, and other relevant parties. nnnThe ideal candidate will have:nThorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)nAwareness of business trendsnExperience with creating financial statementsnExperience with general ledger functions and the month-endyear-end close processnGood accounting software user and administration skillsnAccuracy and attention to detailnAptitude for numbers and quantitative skillsnBachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experiencenIntermediate understanding of accounting and reporting standards
