We are looking for an experienced English-speaking BOOKKEEPER to join our Business Boutique Company.
Business Boutique's goal is to make the Emirates a home for life and business for investors and entrepreneurs from all over the world.
We offer:
- Fully on-site work;
- Official contract under the UAE legislation, work visa, insurance provided;
- Full time, full day: Mon-Fri 8.30 to 18.00 UAE time;
- Fixed salary AED 50007000 (final offer will be based on the person’s experience). Responsibilities:
- Maintain accounting records for the company's clients with small to large business portfolio (A/P, A/R, bank transactions, payroll, month-end journals);
- Prepare monthly and year-end reporting in accordance with agreed client requirements;
- Communicating directly with clients as part of the accounting and reporting process;
- Preparing financial statements such as balance sheet and statement of comprehensive income, VAT returns;
- Ensuring correct and accurate entry of financial data;
- Assisting clients in the selection and customization of accounting software; Entering all basic transactions into the appropriate software;
- Communicating with audit firms on behalf of the client as part of the supervision of third parties providing audit services to the client;
- Assisting clients with their queries relating to VAT registration, notification and reporting of economic objects.
We expect from you:
- English Advanced level and above with competent verbal and written skills;
- Experience as a bookkeeper (at least 1 year of experience in an accounting/audit firm);
- Higher education in specialty;
- Certificates: CPA or CMA;
- Knowledge in using various accounting programs (Zoho books, Quickbooks, Xero);
- Experience with corporate tax in other jurisdictions (e.g. UK) is preferred.
