Creating visually appealing, artistic presentations for plated desserts, cakes, and confections. Adjusting formulations and testing recipes for customized client specifications, dietary restrictions, or banquets. nnBaking & ProductionnnMeasuring, mixing, baking, and assembling a wide range of desserts (e. g. , custards, chocolates, pastries, cakes, and artisan breads). Decorating pastries using professional icing, piping, and glazing techniques. Managing the daily production schedule to ensure all items are prepped, fresh, and ready for service. nnKitchen Management & Quality ControlnnMaintaining strict quality control to ensure every dessert meets exact taste, texture, and visual standards before it reaches the guest. Conducting inventory, ordering baking supplies, and ensuring high-quality ingredients are sourced and stored. Overseeing the maintenance and sanitation of baking equipment to ensure a safe, hygienic work environment. nnLeadership & CompliancennSupervising, training, and scheduling junior pastry cooks and kitchen staff. Ensuring the pastry section fully complies with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards. Calculating recipe and ingredient costs to help maximize profit margins and reduce food waste.
