
MICE Manager – Job DescriptionnPosition OverviewnThe MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) Manager is responsible for planning, developing, and executing corporate events, incentive programs, conferences, and large-scale meetings. This role ensures seamless event coordination, drives business growth through strategic partnerships, and delivers high-quality experiences for clients and attendees. nKey Responsibilitiesn1. Event Planning & Executionn•tDevelop, plan, and manage end-to-end MICE events, from concept to completion. n•tCoordinate logistics including venue selection, accommodation, transportation, catering, audiovisual set-ups, and on-site support. n•tPrepare detailed event proposals, itineraries, budgets, and timelines. n•tConduct site inspections and negotiate with venues and service providers. n2. Client Managementn•tUnderstand client objectives and translate them into tailored MICE solutions. n•tServe as the primary point of contact for clients throughout planning and execution. n•tPresent proposals, manage client expectations, and ensure high satisfaction levels. n•tHandle post-event evaluation and feedback to drive improvements. n3. Vendor & Stakeholder Coordinationn•tBuild and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, hotels, venues, and travel partners. n•tNegotiate contracts, service agreements, and pricing with vendors. n•tOversee third-party performance to ensure quality standards are met. n4. Budgeting & Financial Controln•tDevelop event budgets and track all financial aspects of each program. n•tEnsure cost-effective solutions and optimize spending without compromising quality. n•tPrepare financial reports for internal review and client transparency. n5. Sales & Business Developmentn•tIdentify and pursue new MICE business opportunities. n•tParticipate in bidding processes, trade shows, and sales presentations. n•tCollaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create MICE-focused campaigns. n•tMaintain a strong pipeline of prospects and achieve revenue targets. n6. Risk & Compliance Managementn•tEnsure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and safety requirements. n•tDevelop contingency plans and manage on-site risk situations. n•tOversees event insurance, contracts, and permits where requirenQualifications & SkillsnEducational Requirementsn•tBachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Business Administration, Tourism, or related field. nExperiencen•t3–7 years of experience in MICE, event management, corporate events, or hospitality. n•tProven track record organizing large-scale conferences or corporate incentive programs.
