The role focuses on maintaining cold chain integrity, regulatory compliance, and quality standards from receiving to retail. nnKey Roles & Responsibilitiesnt•tMonitor quality and food safety standards across meat processing, frozen storage, and retail outletsnt•tConduct inspections for raw meat, frozen products, and finished goodsnt•tEnsure cold chain compliance (chillers, freezers, transport, and display units)nt•tVerify temperature logs, hygiene practices, sanitation schedules, and pest control recordsnt•tImplement and monitor HACCP plans and prerequisite programs (GMP, GHP, SSOP)nt•tIdentify non-conformities and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA)nt•tMaintain traceability, batch records, expiry control, and recall readinessnt•tCoordinate with operations during municipality and authority inspectionsnt•tConduct food safety and hygiene training for staffnt•tHandle quality-related customer complaints and investigationsnnEducation & Qualificationsnt•tBachelor’s degree in Food Science, Meat Technology, Microbiology, or Food Technologynt•tDiploma in Food Safety Quality Management is an advantagennIndustry-Relevant Certifications (Required Preferred)nt•tHACCP Certification – Mandatorynt•tFood Safety Level 3 or Level 4 – Preferrednt•tISO 22000 or FSSC 22000 (Awareness or Internal Auditor) – Added advantagent•tGMP GHP Certification – Added advantagennExperience Requirementsnt•t3–5 years of QCQA experience in meat, poultry, frozen food, slaughterhouse, cold storage, or food retailnt•tHands-on experience with cold chain, hygiene audits, and regulatory inspectionsnt•tFamiliarity with Oman Municipality food safety authority requirements is a strong advantagennSkills & Competenciesnt•tStrong understanding of meat and frozen food safety risksnt•tGood documentation and audit handling skillsnt•tPractical, field-oriented approachnt•tAbility to work independently across multiple locations
