Job PurposennThe **Senior Accountant** will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with Omani statutory requirements, overseeing payroll accounting, preparing financial statements, and supporting management with clear, actionable financial insights. This is a key role pivotal to the company’s financial health and growth strategy. nnnKey ResponsibilitiesnnFinancial Accounting & Reportingnn* Oversee full cycle accounting activities including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations. n* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements. n* Ensure accurate and timely closing of accounts. nnPayroll & Employee Accountingnn* Coordinate payroll accounting for 700+ employees. n* Reconcile payroll with HRpayroll system and ensure proper allocation of direct and indirect costs. n* Handle staff benefit provisions and employee-related expenses. nnBudgeting & Forecastingnn* Assist in annual budgeting and periodic forecasting. n* Provide variance analysis and financial insights to management. nnCompliance & Auditsnn* Ensure compliance with Oman tax regulations, VAT requirements, and statutory filings. n* Support internal and external audits, including audit schedules, reconciliations, and audit queries. nnCash Flow & Treasurynn* Monitor day-to-day cash flow and working capital positions. n* Manage bank transactions, payments, and fund transfers. nn### **Financial Controls & Processes**nn* Strengthen accounting policies, internal controls, and process flows. n* Standardize procedures across branches (Oman, UAE, India). nnStakeholder Coordinationnn* Liaise with external auditors, banks, government authorities, and internal stakeholders. n* Coordinate with the UAE and India finance teams for consolidated reporting. nnClient Billing & Reconciliationnn* Handle client billing cycles, invoicing, receipts, and aging analysis. n* Resolve client account disputes and follow up on collections. nnnnQualifications & Experiencenn* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CAACCACMA preferred). n* **5+ years of solid accounting experience**, preferably within staffingoutsourcing or service industries. n* Prior experience handling multi-entity or multi-location operations is an advantage. n* Strong knowledge of Omani accounting standards, VAT regulations, and statutory requirements. n* Proven experience with accounting software (Oracle, SAP, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar ERP). nnSkills & Competenciesnn* Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills. n* High proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems. n* Strong communication skills (English required; Arabic beneficial). n* Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines. n* Professional integrity, attention to detail and strong ethical standards. nnnnWhat We Offernn* Competitive Salary and Benefitsn* Opportunity to work in a fast-growing regional companyn* Exposure to multi-country financial operationsn* Professional growth and skill enhancement
