Job Title: Steel FabricatornJob Description:nThe Steel Fabricator at our manufacturing company is responsible for fabricating steel structures and components according to specifications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of drawings, be able to estimate material requirements accurately, and possess the necessary skills to work with various fabrication tools and equipment. nKey Responsibilities:nRead and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand project requirements. nFabricate and assemble steel structures and components, including greenhouse net house frameworks, highway light poles, brackets, jigs, and other steel parts, based on technical drawings and specifications. nCut, shape, and assemble steel components using various tools, machinery, and equipment such as cutting machines, welding units, grinding machines, and bending tools. nWeld steel parts securely, ensuring strong, durable, and code-compliant joints. nPerform structural erections, scaffolding erection, and ACE fabrication as required. nEstimate material requirements and coordinate the timely procurement of necessary materials. nUtilize fabrication tools and machinery effectively and safely, adhering to all safety protocols. nConduct quality checks and inspections on fabricated parts to verify accuracy, precision, and adherence to specifications. nTroubleshoot and resolve fabrication, welding, or assembly issues promptly to ensure project continuity. nCollaborate with project managers to address design or production challenges, ensuring timely completion of tasks. nMaintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress. nEnsure a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times, following safety guidelines and regulations. nAssist with structural and steel component installation as needed. nRequirements:n1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in steel fabrication and welding. n2. Basic reading, writing, and comprehension skills to understand drawings and instructions. n3. Proficiency in using fabrication tools and machines. n4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. n5. Strong attention to detail and quality. n6. Physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of the job. n7. Certification from an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in relevant field or a Mechanical EngineernAdditional Information:n- Salary Range: 200 to 300 OMR (negotiable on the caliber)n- Age Group: 25 to 35
