Job Summary:nnWe are seeking a highly experienced and technically skilled Workshop Supervisor cum Mechanic for our operations in Oman. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in mechanical repairs, diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance, and workshop supervision, particularly in heavy trucks, commercial vehicles, construction equipment, heavy machinery, and automotive workshop operations. nnThe candidate will be responsible for supervising workshop activities while also performing hands-on mechanical work when required, ensuring quality repairs, minimizing downtime, and maintaining high operational standards. nnKey Responsibilities:nSupervise and manage daily workshop operations to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of repair jobs. nPerform and oversee mechanical repairs, troubleshooting, diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and breakdown repairs. nHandle hands-on mechanical work related to engines, transmission, suspension, brakes, steering, hydraulics, cooling systems, electrical basics, and driveline components. nDiagnose technical and mechanical issues and provide effective repair solutions. nAssign repair and maintenance jobs to technicians and monitor work quality and productivity. nEnsure all repair works are completed according to manufacturer standards and company procedures. nConduct final inspection and quality checks before vehicleequipment delivery. nCoordinate with spare parts department to ensure timely availability of required components. nMaintain workshop discipline, cleanliness, tools, equipment, and safety standards. nPrepare workshop reports, maintenance schedules, job cards, and repair updates. nTrain and support technicians in troubleshooting and mechanical repair activities. nAttend vehicleequipment breakdowns and provide technical support when required. nEnsure proper maintenance of workshop tools and machinery. nMaintain customer satisfaction through efficient repair and service quality. nEnsure compliance with company policies, workshop SOPs, and safety regulations. nQualifications & Requirements:nDiploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Heavy Equipment Maintenance, or related field. nMinimum 5+ years of experience as a Workshop Supervisor, Senior Mechanic, or Workshop Supervisor cum Mechanic, preferably in Oman or GCC market. nStrong hands-on experience in mechanical workshop operations, especially in heavy trucks, commercial vehicles, construction equipment, heavy machinery, or automotive workshop sector. nExcellent knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, transmission systems, suspension, brakes, electrical troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. nAbility to independently diagnose and repair mechanical failures. nExperience in supervising workshop staff and managing workshop productivity. nGood communication and leadership skills. nKnowledge of Oman market and workshop operations will be an added advantage. nValid OmanGCC Driving License preferred. nWillingness to attend emergency breakdown services when required. nKey Skills:nWorkshop SupervisionnMechanical Repairs & DiagnosticsnHeavy Truck & Equipment MaintenancenDiesel Engine TroubleshootingnPreventive & Corrective MaintenancenTeam Supervision & LeadershipnWorkshop Operations ManagementnHydraulics & Mechanical SystemsnBreakdown Support & RepairnSafety & Quality ControlnPreferred Industry Experience:nHeavy TrucksnCommercial VehiclesnConstruction EquipmentnHeavy MachinerynAutomotive WorkshopsnFleet Maintenance Operations
