Junior Accountant
The role requires a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet programs. The junior accountant will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the organization’s financial data and will support the organization’s overall financial goals and objectives.
What you will work on:
Account Receivable:Manage the accounts receivable through entering the accounting transactions related to accounts receivable, and following up on collection with the supply chain department and allocation of payments to ensure that all accounting records are up-to-date, accurate, and transactions are reflected into the projects.
Cash Management and Cash Forecast:Process payments and receipt for all invoices submitted by the procurement function and prepare cash disbursement reports according to the loan agreement terms and conditions to ensure that the transaction are reflected into the projects and GL.
Company Treasury :Enter all transactions related to petty cash funds issuances, replenishments, closing and record all transactions related to payments made through LC’s in addition to preparing LC and LG Opening forms and coordinate with banks in order to provide necessary information related to cash.
Assist in Payroll :Perform general ledger reconciliations pertaining to payroll general ledger accounts, staff expense allocation, review payroll reports, maintaining benefit accrual, preparing pertinent journal entries and calculate the deductions and overtime based on the information provided by the HR function in order pay the salaries on time and to have an accurate monthly payroll report.
Assist in Period-end Closing: Ensure accuracy and completeness of period end transactions to ensure that timely and accurate period end closing.
Assist in Taxes and 3 rd Parties:Process transactions related to tax to ensure that tax transactions are accurate and recorded on a timely manner in accordance with the tax authorities and when needed to ensure that the company is following all tax laws, requirements and regulations correctly.
Implementing and develop Finance and Accounting Policies, Process and Procedure, Stander Practice in Compliance with Legal Requirements:Implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards practice, the policies and procedures should be aligned with legal requirements and labor relations, ensuring that the organization is in compliance with laws and regulations in order to minimize legal risks and help to consistency and fairness in financial processes.
Your Areas of Expertise:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
Minimum of one year of related experience or Six months of Internship.
Must have a good understanding of accounting principles and practices.
A general knowledge in financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Nice to have experience in ERP, SAP business one, and accounting software and technology to manage financial data and automate processes.
Strong knowledge in MS Office.
Excellent English and Arabic oral and written communication skills.
Nice to have trainings/certificates in any of the related field.
