Analyst/Associate, Mergers & Acquisitions

2. JOB PURPOSE

Execute on Hikma’s growth strategy by working on M& A and BD projects including deal sourcing, due diligence, valuation, and negotiation of deal documents.




3. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Strategy:

Assist in the Execution of Hikma’s inorganic growth strategy by executing M& A deals, BD support and other major projects undertaken by Hikma Group.


Projects:

Conduct various financial analysis and valuation exercises. Assist deal team day to day operation to ensure smooth due diligence and deal execution.

Job specific accountabilities

Evaluates M& A opportunities to ensure healthy deal pipeline that matches Hikma’s strategy
Conduct various screening and market research exercises.
Conduct and assist in due diligence activities for potential acquisitions, and clearly identify and address key findings
Conduct valuation exercises
Prepare investment thesis presentations with clear recommendations
Prepare and submit offers
Assist in the Negotiation and execution of deal documents
Support Hikma’s BD teams in projects assessment
Assess Hikma key projects such as greenfield.
Ad hoc projects as requested by Hikma senior management

Hikma various teams including our executive committee
External:
Various advisors including investment banks, legal counsel, accounting firms and technical advisors as needed.

5. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum: Bachelors degree in Finance
Preferred: MBA CFA CPA or equivalent is preferred
EXPERIENCE
Minimum: 3 to 5 years in corporate finance roles
Preferred: Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
